- My-Otome Zwei 4 (Neptune Robe Nina)
This episode contains mostly Nina's development and her struggle to question herself of the powers of Otome, not unlike that of Arika's in the original Mai-Otome series.
Plot
Beneath the forbidden library, the mysterious figure is revealed to be the Shinsou, Fumi, who has awakened, and together a child (resembling Kaguitschi from
My-Hime ). This causes turmoil in Earl whilst Nina, after dreaming about the last fatal fight with Arika from episode 26 ofMy-Otome , finds herself in the Black Valley, where Mikoto is trapped with Mai and Mashiro. Nina is soon updated with the condition of the country.Nina is upset due to her loss of Otome power, caused by the long stay with Sergay. But Ribbon, the girl from Schuwbaltz reveals a necklace that is similar to Erstin's Slave stone, at which Nina is reminded about the cause of Otome power, making her hesitate. However, when Fumi attacks Arika, Nina soon notices that even with Arika's power, it would be impossible to defeat the Shinsou.
Despite her hesitation, she gains courage to inquire a contract with Mashiro, who agrees: Nina then materialises with the gem she collected from the Dragon Cave earlier on.
Mashiro is absorbed into Fumi's body during the fight, but she says to both of her Otomes "not to hesitate, and keep attacking." Soon the fight is ended just as Mai ends her battle with the Child by dragging away the sword from its head. Then the Child turns into its true form, which is a white cat. The humour in this is that the cat is called 'Kaguitchi' by Mai, similar to how her Child is named in
My-Hime .Ribbon is impressed with Nina's materialisation, and at the end is determined to become a great Otome like her. Her cloak then falls off, revealing a girl with blonde hair, her appearance similar to Erstin.
