Poetry )", a scholar, and the author of books of lyric poetry andtranslation from classical Greek and Latin, including: "It Was Fever That Made the World", "Sappho: A Garland", and "Catullan Revenants". His poems, translations and literary criticism have appeared widely in literary journals and periodicals in the United States and Great Britain, including "Slate, Threepenny Review, Paris Review, Poetry, P.N. Review, Conjunctions".His works
