Aaronios

The Aaronios were a family of Bulgarian origin in the Byzantine Empire. They descended from Ivan Vladislav of Bulgaria.

The two eldest members of the family, Presianos and Alousianos were involved in Byzantine rebellions about 1040. Aaron served as governor in both Iberia and Mesopotamia. His son Theodore served as governor of Taronitide.
