Patrick Gaubert (born
6 July 1948 inParis ) is a French politician andMember of the European Parliament for the Île-de-France. He is a member of theUnion for a Popular Movement , which is part of theEuropean People's Party , and is vice-chair of theEuropean Parliament 's Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs. He is also a substitute for the Committee on Foreign Affairs and a member of the delegation for relations withIsrael .Gaubert is one of six Members of the European Parliament participating in the European Union's observer mission in
