Quinchao Island

Quinchao Island

Quinchao Island (Spanish: "Isla Quinchao") is an island in Chiloé Province, Chile, off the east coast of Chiloé Island. It has an area of 135 km2 and a population of ca 12,000. It includes the communes of Quinchao and Curaco de Vélez. Main towns are Achao and Curaco de Vélez.
