Stephan P. Mickle (born 1944) is a Judge for United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida.

Mickle was born in New York City. He graduated from the University of Florida in 1965 with his Bachelors degree.

He received his Masters degree from UF in 1966, and his Juris Doctorate from the Levin College of Law at UF in 1970. He began private practice in Gainesville, Florida in 1972 becoming Alachua County's first black lawyer. He practiced until 1979, when he was appointed to the the Judge of Alachua County Florida. In 1998 he was appointed as a United States District Judge for the Northern District of Florida by President Bill Clinton.
