† Appearances (Goals).Omar Milanetto (born November 30, 1975 in Venaria Reale, Piedmont) is an Italian football midfielder. He currently plays for Serie B side Padova. He is a defensive midfielder or central midfielder known for his playmaking ability and long shots, and also was one of Genoa's main penalty takers.
On 26 July, it was announced that Omar Milanetto has joined Padova after a furious row with fans. The midfielder had been a very popular figure in the club, but his rapport with the ultras was damaged when he hurled an insult at the Gradinata Nord during the Derby della Lanterna against Sampdoria, after providing the winning assist to Mauro Boselli.
Graffiti appeared on the walls outside the training ground urging Milanetto to leave.
