Karlos Kirby

Karlos Kirby (born 1971) is an American bobsledder who competed during the 1990s.

A native of Iowa, he earned his bachelor's and master's degree at the University of New Mexico and an educational specialist degree from Drake University.

In bobsleigh, Kirby earned a bronze medal in the four-man event at the 1993 FIBT World Championships in Igls. Kirby competed in two Winter Olympics, earning his best finish of ninth in the four-man event at Albertville in 1992.

Kirby later became an instructor at Northern Arizona University. He also taught extension courses at Drake.

In 2006, Kirby signed on in the United States Navy Reserve as an ensign. As of 2007, he is a Lieutenant, Junior Grade, serving as a public affairs officer for the US Navy.
