Valdosta Tigers

Valdosta Tigers

The Valdosta Tigers were a "Class-D" minor league baseball team that operated in the Georgia-Florida League. They went through a number of affiliations and names during their existence from 1946-1958.

The team, based in Valdosta, Georgia was originally a Brooklyn Dodgers affiliate known as the Valdosta Dodgers (1946-1952), then they were a St. Louis Browns affiliate known as the Valdosta Browns (1953) before becoming a Detroit Tigers affiliate under their final name.
