Stellan Hagmalm

Stellan Hagmalm (born October 9 1942) is a swedish eccentric. He spends his days walking the streets of Lund together with his wife, carrying a sign accusing a man named Carl-Erik Rosén for the murder of swedish prime minister Olof Palme in 1986. The sign reads::"Carl-Erik Rosén sköt Olof Palme"(Carl-Erik Rosén shot Olof Palme), and on the back::"Sluta mörda oss"(Stop murdering us)

Hagmalm is somewhat of a local celebrity in Lund, this led to him being featured on the popular TV-show 100 höjdare, led by Filip Hammar & Fredrik Wikingsson. He did not want to talk to the hosts however, stating that "it won't help us". This goes against Hagmalm's previous behaviour, as he has usually been very keen to tell his story, even being interviewed in the local part of Sydsvenskan twice. Before coming to Lund, Hagmalm was active in Jönköping for 10 years, become a local profile there also.

The conspiracy

The reason for the protest, according to Hagmalm himself, is that his childood friend Carl-Erik Rosén is conspiring against him and his family (together with all swedish politicians and the mass media) to hide the fact that Hagmalm is in fact Sweden's true heir to the throne. Olof Palme was murdered to divert attention from this. Stellan claims to have been the victim of mind control, and also claims that the sinking of the Estonia and the Laser Man were part of the conspiracy.

Trouble with the law

Hagmalm has been reported many times, mostly for libel. At one point he demanded a female relative be questioned for the murder of Olof Palme, and put her phone number on his sign, which led to the woman being harassed by strangers. He also resisted arrest when police took him in.
