Andy Wong

Andy Wong is a young Chinese actor in New Zealand who has a leading role in the drama "Ride with the Devil". Andy found his interest in acting and performing in high school where he was involved in various school musical and drama projects. When he graduated from high school, he decided to pursuer a career in medicine, however it doesn’t mean that he’s given up his interest in acting.

He got his first taste in professional acting when he got the role of Chow Yeoh, Li Mei’s fiancé from China in the popular New Zealand drama Shortland Street. Since then, Andy had been involved film projects that achieved international success, he was involved in No. 2, by Toa Fraser, which did very well in the Sundance film festival in the US and continued its success around the world in various film festivals. More recently he played a small part in a New Zealand, Singapore co-production called The Tattooist alongside with famous American actor Jason Behr. Andy’s biggest achievement in acting happened recently when he was casted as the lead character Lin Gin in the series Ride With the Devil.
