José Camarón y Bononat

José Camarón y Bononat (1731-1803) was a Spanish painter, mainly active in Valencia, where he became director of the Academy of San Carlos.

He was born in Segorbe and received his first instruction from his father, Nicolás, who was a sculptor and architect; he died in Valencia.
