Scottish artist James McDonald was born in
Stirling in 1956.A graduate ofEdinburgh College of Art , award winning artist James McDonald has painted full time since 1989. Exhibited widely, his quixotic, meticulously observed still lives feature in many public and corporate collections worldwide.Educated from 1974 - 78 at
Edinburgh College of Art and thereafter taking on a Certificate of Post Graduate Studies (Edinburgh), he has held the following one man shows:1985 - Rijkscentrum Frans Masareel, Belgium 1989 - Glasgow Print Studio
