- Luke Jordan
Luke Jordan (1892-1952) was a
blues guitarist and vocalist of some renown in his local area ofLynchburg, Virginia . His professional career started at age 35, when he was noticed byVictor Records , and went toCharlotte, North Carolina in 1927 to record several records. These records sold moderately well, and Victor decided to take Jordan toNew York in 1929, for 2 more sessions. He recorded very few known tracks in his career, but a few remain intact.
