Columbus Marion Joiner

Columbus Marion ("Dad") Joiner (March 12, 1860 – March 27, 1947) was an American oilman. With A.D. ("Doc") Lloyd, a self-educated, self-proclaimed geologist,[1] he discovered the largest oil field in the world up to that time, the East Texas oil field, in 1930 in Rusk County.
