WeatherTRAK is a line of weather-based landscape irrigation control systems (also called "smart controllers") available in residential and commercial models.

Unlike traditional irrigation timers, the systems automatically adjust landscape water output based on daily local weather conditions and landscape parameters including soil type, plant variety, hours of sun received and degree of slope. Watering adjustments are prompted by wirelessly delivered packets of local weather data, collected from a network of weather stations. Internet-based control enables users to remotely manage the water output of these systems.

Smart controllers have been shown to reduce outdoor water use and resultant non-point source urban runoff pollution (see several published studies on the California Urban Water Conservation Council website at: http://www.cuwcc.org/landscape_Irr_Tech.lasso).
