Paulo César Rocha Rosa, Paulo César (born January 5, 1980 in São Luis, Maranhão), is a Brazilian football striker who currently plays for Sporting Clube de Braga, in Portugal's first division.

After starting playing football with Vila Nova Futebol Clube, César moved to Portugal still a youngster, and represented Gil Vicente FC, Vitória de Guimarães, Rio Ave FC and União Leiria, making his first division debut on August 20, 2000 against SC Campomaiorense. In 2003, he had a short return stint in Brazil, with Grémio Inhumense.

In March 9, 2008, César scored a goal for Leiria (eventually relegated) against SL Benfica in "Estádio da Luz", and the 2-2 final score meant Benfica's coach José Antonio Camacho dismissal. In July he signed for Sporting Braga.
