Career
Kerchev started your career in Botev Vratsa. On 17-years old signed first profesional contract with Lokomotiv from city Rousse. After that played consistent in Chikago from village Trastenik, Akademik Svishtov, Spartak Varna, CSKA Sofia and Vidima-Rakovski. In June 2005 he signed with Slavia Sofia.
International career
In 2002 Kerchev played once for Bulgaria national under-21 football team.
