Holly Morris is a television reporter for WTTG in Washington D.C. since 1998. She is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated from Duke University in 1993 with a degree in civil engineering.
Holly anchors the 11am newscast but is best known for her extremely high energy remote reporting during the early morning news covering on community events. where she often participates in the activities she's reporting on. From bull riding to pumpkin chunkin, Holly tries it all in her light segment of the Fox-5 Morning News. Holly has won 3 regional Emmy awards for "Best Live Reporting" as well as a regional Edward R. Murrow award.
Holly gained fame beyond the Washington DC area when her high energy antics were featured regularly on the nationally syndicated radio show The Don and Mike Show. In addition to highlighting Holly's latest adventure, the show features a weekly "wheel of Holly" segment where tapes of Holly's past features are played at random.
Personal
Holly is divorced and since remarried and was once married to former Fox 5 weatherman Tom Sater (now a manager a Tractor Supply Company in Warrenton Va) who since has remarried to Fox 5 news anchorwoman Gurvir Dhindsa. Tom and Gurvir just had twin girls.
Holly and her new husband live in Rockville, Md.
