"Throwing Muses" is the 2003 second self-titled record by the Throwing Muses. The album was recorded over a weekend and released simultaneously with Kristin Hersh's solo record "The Grotto" on 17 March 2003. It features Bernard Georges on and bass and David Narcizo on drums as well as original bandmate Tanya Donelly on backing vocals.
