6 August 2008 In November 2006, an official from the newly formed Interactive Digital Media Programme Office of the
Media Development Authority of Singapore, made contact with to explore the possibility of working to mentor, guide and assist budding startups. The result was the formation of a separate, for-profit, full time entity for spotting, mentoring and assisting budding startups.
