First Belgrade Gymnasium

First Belgrade Grammar School is one of the most prominent [Grammar (schools)|(secondary schools) in Belgrade, Serbia. It was founded in 1839 and it was an elite school at the time. Many famous Serbs attended the school there, including: Mihajlo Petrovic Alas, Jovan Cvijic, Jovan Skerlic, Sima Lozanic, Aleksandar Belic, Ljubomir Stojanovic, Aleksandar Deroko and many others. Serbian President Boris Tadić was a teacher of psychology in that school. Today it is one of the eminent schools in Serbia with a long tradition.
