KRISTAL Audio Editor is a digital audio editor, multi-track recorder and sound mixer, operating on a Windows compatible pc, able to manage up to 16 separate channels of audio.

Origin

Kristal started out in 1999 as the university thesis project of Matthias Juwan. At that time it was known as the "Crystal Audio Engine", a name derived from the song "The Crystal Ship" by The Doors. [ [http://www.kreatives.org/kristal/index.php?section=details KRISTAL Audio Engine ] ]
