"Kind & Generous" is a song by Natalie Merchant and the first single from her second solo album "Ophelia". This song became Natalie's most popular song to dateFact|date=September 2007 and is often played at graduationsFact|date=September 2007.

It is also played in "The Office" when Michael Scott leaves for a corporate interview.

Music video

The music video made for this song features Natalie as part of a travelling circus and taking on many guises. The circus performers were actual performers from the local area and the little girl was the daughter of the proprietor/showperson. The music video was filmed in one day in a meadow near where the circus was performing. This is noticeable as the music video begins at dawn and ends at dusk. [Pop-Up Video.]
