National Pen Corporation is a diversified, multi faceted organization to support its growth in the promotional products industry. Primarily focusing on personalized advertising giveaways and promotional products in the United States, Canada, and European countries, National Pen is a leader in providing highly personalized ad specialty products worldwide.

Headquartered in San Diego, California, National Pen was acquired by the Berwind organization in 2004.

History

Founded in the late 1950s by an entrepreneur and inventor, Al Liguori, National Pen started as a humble tool and dye company in the Bronx, New York, as Modern Mold and Tool. The company's founder and current Patriarch Al Liguori, a machinist by trade, made some of the first ball point pens ever produced in the US. Liguori made pens for a number of specialty companies in the early years. His innovative designs were very popular and the company grew rapidly. In 1966 at Liguori's direction his brother-in-law Paul Stabile and eldest son Tom started the current marketing and manufacturing company National Pen Company (Now Internet Design Technology (IDT), LLC) National Pen grew rapidly by offering three full lines of imprint while it's competitors only offered one.

The company has always been a value added company opting not to sell commodities. Following the early years of offering the three line imprint the company introduced color decoration to the world of specialty products. In the 1970s and 1980s the company continued its growth offering inexpensive stick pens decorated products. In the mid-1980s NP acquired its then largest competitor, also in the mail order business, US Pen and Pencil. This made NP one of the largest sellers of advertising specialties in the US.

Acquired by the Berwind organization in 2004, National Pen leverages the strength of this multi faceted organization to support its growth in the promotional products industry. National Pen is a leader in providing highly personalized ad specialty products worldwide and is dedicated to serving the needs of its expanding customer base.

ATLAS PEN AND PENCIL COMPANY (Hollywood, Florida)Atlas Pen and Pencil company is head-quartered in Florida. Atlas Pen specializes in advertising specialty products for teachers, golf, and real estate.
