- Kintetsu Nagano Line
The Nihongo|Nagano Line|近鉄長野線|Kintetsu Nagano-sen is a railway line of
Japan eseprivate railway companyKintetsu Corporation branching off Minami-Osaka Line at ja-stalink|Furuichi in southern suburbs ofOsaka . The line connects cities of Habikino, Tondabayashi and Kawachi-Nagano inOsaka Prefecture , terminates at ja-stalink|Kawachi-Nagano with connection toNankai Electric Railway Kōya Line.History
The Nagano Line was constructed and opened as the sole line of Nihongo|Kayō Railway|河陽鉄道|Kayō Tetsudō who aimed to connect inland town Kawachi-Nagano to ja-stalink|Kashiwara on the
Kansai Main Line (then of Nihongo|Kansei Railway|関西鉄道|Kansei Tetsudō|also read as Kwansei, Kansai). The successor Osaka Railway (II) decided and built its own line directly to Osaka, branching from ja-stalink|Dōmyōji. The company then opened a line diverting from ja-stalink|Furuichi toNara Prefecture , to complete present Minami-Osaka Line. Thus the line to Kawachi-Nagano became a branch line, present Nagano Line.Operation
Nearly all trains go through up to/down from ja-stalink|Ōsaka Abenobashi on Minami-Osaka Line. A few trains return at ja-stalink|Tondabayashi.
