Shuyukan

Nihongo|Fukuoka Prefectural Shuyukan Senior High School|福岡県立修猷館高等学校 is a co-educational public senior high school located in Fukuoka city, Fukuoka prefecture, Japan. It produces a number of graduates who continue their studies at University of Tokyo as well as Kyushu University. The school yard hosts a descendant of Isaac Newton's apple tree.Fact|date=July 2008

History

February 6 1784 Opening of Shuyukan as a Han-School of Fukuoka-Han ["Han" is a samurai's feudal prefectural government in the Edo Period.] .

Organization

There are no vocational courses, only an ordinary (college preparatory) course exists. In the second year, students choose between Arts and Science streams. In addition, there are Super-Art stream, Super-Science stream, and Pre-Med stream for advanced students.
