These banknotes were printed in 1910 for issue by the Bank of New South Wales at its Port Moresby branch. The 1 pound note is extremely rare.

*PS111. 1 pound. 1 May 1910; 1 June 1910. Black. A seated allegorical woman holding a caduceus by a sheep with a sailing ship in the background at the top centre of the note.
