"Still My Girl" is the third motion picture in the "My Girl" movie franchise, currently in development at Columbia Pictures. The latest update on the project is a 2003 interview Dan Aykroyd had with United Kingdom talk show host Parkinson where he stated Columbia had an interest in getting this off the ground and strong interest in Anna Chlumsky returning to her role as Vada Sultenfuss. Unconfirmed rumors on various movie message boards indicate Aykroyd himself was working on a polished script for years, but that information has yet to be confirmed.

Anna Chlumsky has recently returned to acting after years working for restaurant publications in New York City and indication through various online outlets indicate the chances are better than ever for Columbia to "fast track" the final chapter in Vada's saga. Unfortunately, recent interviewers during media appearances have yet to bring up the topic to Anna personally, causing confusion and wonderment among many online fans who have voiced their concerns in numerous outlets such as articles and community forums.
