Tyros Stakes

Tyros Stakes

The Tyros Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in the Republic of Ireland for two-year-old thoroughbreds. It is run over a distance of 7 furlongs (1,408 metres) at Leopardstown Racecourse in late July.

The race was promoted to Group 3 status in 2007 having been previously classed as a Listed race. Prior to 2003 the race was held at the Curragh and before 2000 it took place in mid August.
