Arthur Guilherme Moraes Gusmão [cite web|url=http://www.acsiena.it/comunicatidetail.php3?id=5766|title=Formalizzato l'acquisto di Porta. He plays in Serie A for AS Roma.

Arthur started his career at Cruzeiro. He was on loan to Coritiba for the 2006-07 season.

He was reported to have signed a two year contact with A.C. Siena on 7 January 2008 after his contract with Cruzeiro had expired. On 30 January, he was loaned to A.C. Cesena

On June 25 2008, Artur completed a transfer to Roma from Siena along with his team mate Simone Loria in an exchange deal which saw Roma goalkeeper Gianluca Curci move to Siena in a dual ownership deal and Roma midfielder Ahmed Barusso move on loan to the Tuscan based club. Daniele Galloppa, owned by both Roma & Siena, also became a Siena player to all effects as part of the deal.
