Dukkemand is a Danish rock-alternative band formed in 2005 by Kasper Falensteen, Kristian Due Marstal and Aske Ditzel. The group is not very famous, although it has played some gigs in Copenhagen, primarily at cafe's and small concert venues. In 2005 and until winter 2006, they played covers of Rammstein, but they decided to move on, and tried to make their own music. They couldn't agree however, and soon decided to quit trying. But in summer 2007 they decided to try making their own music again, primarily theme music, like western and sailor music, but everything is made with a sense of rock in it, however, they do also include other genres like disco, fifties rock and other sorts of genres, making it a big mixup. The keyboardist Søren Thrane Hansen joined the band just before Christmas 2005, in order to play for the band's first gig, and since then he has stayed with them. In September 2007 Kristian Due Marstal decided to quit the band, so right now the band is without a lead guitar player, which they are still searching for.
