stick insect native toBorneo . Theholotype deposited at theNatural History Museum inLondon measures 328 mm excluding legs and 546 mm including legs. This makes it the longest known insect in terms of body length, although "Phobaeticus serratipes " exceeds it in total length with legs extended.Brock, P.D. 1999.
