Letter of resignation

Letter of resignation

A letter of resignation (or a resignation letter) is a type of letter written by an employee to his or her employer to officially announce their resignation from the current position that they hold. Letters of resignation are usually concise and written in a formal tone. Usually a letter of resignation is prepared and handed to the employer at least two weeks before the employee terminates their job with the place of work. A letter of resignation is usually around 1 page long and the employee details many important points emphasized in the letter. These can include a brief than you statement, what they have learned from working in a specific center, and also a reason why they are choosing to resign from their jobs. A reason could be as simple as not liking the duties required to perform well and efficiently inside the area, or it could be more serious such as a medical emergency which often times is permanent. The letter is often put inside an envelope, as if it were to be mailed, and write that it is only to be opened by the authorized person. This is usually the manager them self, and this is also due in a large part because of privacy reasons.
