- Rafael Tejeo
Rafael Tejeo (1800- October 1856) was a Spanish painter during the Neoclassic period.
Born in
Caravaca and died inMadrid . Tejeo first studied inMurcia , then movedMadrid and entered studio ofJose Aparicio . Four years later, he traveled to Rome. He returned in 1827 . He was inducted into theRoyal Academy of San Fernando in September 1828. Named Lieutenant director in August 1839 and honorary director in 1842.Works
