ISBN 983-2181-59-3] . The species name "borneensis" refers to its distribution, being found only in Borneo (Brunei ,Kalimantan , and EastMalaysia ). It is a heavy hardwood similar to "Vatica ". It is found in theBako National Park , and has also been recorded from the Kubah National Park. Elsewhere it is threatened byhabitat loss .References
