All Saints: Revolutionising the future
Although All Saints is not independent, but selective, and more prestigious than other public schools, it continues to be the third best school in Glasgow. This is due to the excellent tuition that the students receive at the schools that are part of the community. These are St Augustine's, St Aloysius, St Martha's, St Catherines, and St Philomena's, where the teacher's work endlessly to ensure that the pupils from these Feeder Schools are up to the extremely high standard that All Saints expects. All of these schools are from middle class areas, hence bad behaviour is virtually non existent in All Saints. The school has also founded 'The Kamwokya Project', which helps under privelaged children in Kamwokya and Africa in general, a true sign of the schools outstanding generosity. The pupils are also involved in 'The Burma Appeal', which focuses those who where effected by the disastrous events in Burma earlier this year.
Heads of Year
The school gives each DHT a year group which they are responsible for. These teachers, though not as imrotant as PST's, play an active part in they're students school careers.
School 'Houses'
The school also has 5 houses each named after the five Roman Catholic saints linked to All Saints. Each house has a head, which is the pupil support teacher, and the pupils are sorted into the houses by surname:
Each pupils are also sorted into practical ability sections, according to the fields at which they excel. These are Music, Drama, and Art.
Facilities
The new school, built to accommodate approximately 1000 pupils(Currently a population of 1300), has a large social area (known as 'the square') at its heart. This versatile space is used for dining, as a performance venue, and as a general meeting place.
