Josh Bezoni

Joshua David Bezoni is an entrepreneur, health philanthropist, and leading fitness author and expert. He is best known as the founder and president of GNS (Global Nutrition Sciences), a nutritional supplement company with a unique approach to changing lives through body transformation. Personal life

Bezoni was born in Iowa City, IA to Harold and Barbara Bezoni—a successful business owner and nurse, respectively. He has two older sisters, Molly Bezoni (the Vice President of GNS) and Mandy, an Iowa schoolteacher. An avid teenage bodybuilder and All-State football player, Bezoni continued his interest in fitness into college, earning a double major in biology and nutrition from The Central University of Iowa with an emphasis in pre-medical studies. After college, Bezoni elected not to go the medical school route, instead moving to Golden, CO to become a research scientist for EAS, a 300-million-dollar performance nutrition supplement company. Bezoni resides in Golden.

Business Achievements

EAS

While employed by EAS (Experimental and Applied Sciences), Bezoni quickly became a trusted associate of owner Bill Phillips. He became Phillips’ only apprentice during this extremely successful time for the company, helping in the creation of performance supplements used by professional sports teams (such as the Denver Broncos), celebrities (Brad Pitt, Demi Moore, and Sylvester Stallone, to name a few), and countless pro athletes, including John Elway, Bill Romanowski, Terrell Davis, and Shannon Sharpe.

Bezoni was also a regular contributor to Phillips’ Muscle Media Magazine, and Bezoni appeared in the highly acclaimed film, Body of Work.

After leaving the corporate world, Bezoni started his own company, Global Nutrition Sciences—a research-based dietary supplement company—and SlimBodyCoach.com—a weight loss coaching website. Both companies are located just outside of Denver in Arvada, Colorado.

Starting in his 500-square-foot, one-bedroom apartment, with over $150,000 in debt, Bezoni used his innovative, inspirational weight-loss philosophy and an instinctive knack for marketing to bring in $3 million in sales within the first three months. Bezoni has also become active in the Denver luxury real estate market, where he builds and invests in multi-million-dollar homes.

• Bezoni is on the board of directors of the Agape Ranch, a unique healing facility for cancer patients to be located on the Big Island of Hawaii. The Agape Ranch Awakening Plan combines nutrition, exercise, and spirituality to help those living with cancer regain control over their lives.
