Burnet Woods, owned and operated by the
Cincinnati Park Board , is an convert|89.3|acre|m2|sing=on city park in the neighbohood of Clifton inCincinnati, Ohio , just next to theUniversity of Cincinnati . The original park area was purchased by the city in 1872, with additional purchases made in 1881 and since. In 1875 anartificial lake was added. The park contains abandstand constructed in 1911, The Lone Star Pavilion, Diggs Fountain Plaza, aplayground area and the Trailside Nature Center (which housesWolff Planetarium ). On the northside of the park, one Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, there is apink granite wall. The wall was constructed as part of a project done by University of Cincinnati students.
