Professor Jürgen Bräuninger is a South African composer. Jürgen Bräuninger studied at the
State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart withUlrich Süsse andErhard Karkoschka and atSan Jose State University ,California , withAllen Strange andDan Wyman . He has contributed to films such as "The Lawnmower Man" and "The Dead Pit ". His work has been performed by theStuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra , theStockholm Saxophone Quartet , theSÜDPOOL Ensemble , and theStuttgarter Kammerorchester as well as many other talented and recognized individual artists. He has been commissioned bySüddeutscher Rundfunk Stuttgart andSüdwestrundfunk . Bräuninger works have been realized atGerald LaPierre Electro-Acoustic Music Studio andStudio für elektronische Musik . He is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Music, at theUniversity of KwaZulu-Natal , inDurban ,South Africa , where he lectures mainly in composition and music technology.External links
