WJSR (91.1 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a
college radio format. Licensed to Birmingham, Alabama, USA, it serves the greater Birmingham area. The station is currently owned by Jefferson State Community College.

WJSR went on the air in 1978 operating with only 10 watts of power. In 1985 the station increased to present 100 watts. WJSR is a student-run station which operates five days a week, Monday through Friday, when classes are in session.
