"Machaonia woodburyana" is a species of plant in the Rubiaceae family. It is found in the British Virgin Islands and the U.S. Virgin Islands, although according to [http://ravenel.si.edu/botany/PRFlora/stjohns/introduction.pdf Flora of St. John] it is endemic to the island of St. John. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical dry shrubland. It is threatened by habitat loss.
