plant in theEuphorbiaceae family. It is endemic to theCockpit Country ofJamaica . The species has now been moved to the genus "Bernardia", as "Bernardia trelawniensis" (C.D. Adams) Jestrow & Proctor in a publication from the Botanical Review of theNew York Botanical Garden (2008). The same publication reclassified the species as Critically Endangered according to theIUCN guidelines.ource
