Tivoweb

TivoWeb is a web server which runs in TiVo branded DVRs.

It adds functionality to TiVo such as being able to set recordings over the internet and undelete deleted shows. It also allows the addition of custom modules which add more features to TivoWeb.

There are 2 main versions of TivoWeb; TivoWeb itself is the original project and is no longer maintained; the last release of it was 1.9.4. The TivoWeb project has been followed by TivoWebPlus, which has two major versions. TivoWebPlus is based on the original TivoWeb project and its latest release is 1.3.1. TivoWeb modules can usually work with TivoWebPlus and vice versa. TivoWebPlus v2 is a complete rewrite aimed at the newest TiVo DVRs. Initially v1.4 it was rebranded v2 to avoid confusion with the existing TivoWebPlus. TivoWeb and TivoWebPlus(1) modules do not work with TivoWebPlus v2 and vice versa.
