- French Park (Cincinnati, Ohio)
French Park is a Cincinnati park located in Amberley Village, Ohio, donated in 1943 to the Cincinnati Park Board by Herbert Greer French. The park, located atop a steep incline, is also home to a creek which visitors can find after a short walk through the woods. There are also a few hiking trails, as well as a covered shelter atop with grilling areas. French park is known in Cincinnati as a very popular dog park. Most people can be seen with their dog(s) on the main creek trail. There are other trails that lead through the woods, but the creek trail is the most popular.
The park is notorious for people breaking the leash law while walking their dogs. You're likely to say 4-5 time per hike "he/she's friendly" and if the other dog is also off the leash you'll get the same answer.
A fantastic place to walk the dog, explore the huge creek/wooded area, or just hang out on the grass and have a picnic.
