Hiroki Tsurumoto (born in
Fukuchiyama ,Japan , onJuly 3 ,1976 ) is a Japanesecomposer of contemporary classical music. He had compositional studies withAmnon Wolman ,Tania Leon , andJohn Corigliano at the City University of New York in New York City from 2002 to 2006.In September 2006 Tsurumoto started
University of Toronto Faculty of Music's graduate composition program with ProfessorKa Nin Chan . He has started studying withJames Rolfe in September 2007.Prior to his career as a composer, he played the
Technitone atVictor Technics Music Festival . He won several prizes including nationwide finalist and a first prize, two second prizes, and a third prize at regional competitions.List of works
