Cheshire's Year of Gardens 08
- Cheshire's Year of Gardens 08
Cheshire’s Year of Gardens ’08 - a year long festival, which will celebrate the rich heritage of the gardens and green environment in Cheshire. The passion for gardens is universal and attracts all ages. Cheshire has some of the finest examples in the world.
Cheshire has more gardens open to the public per head of population than anywhere else in the UK. Many of these gardens are of international importance; others are modest or even tiny expressions of someone’s urge to create a beautiful corner of the landscape.
