Sigurd Wettenhovi-Aspa

Georg Sigurd Wettenhovi-Aspa (born. Wetterhoff-Asp, May 7 1870, HelsinkiFebruary 18 1946) was a Finnish artist and amateur egyptologist. He is best known for his fantastic theories of the past of the Finnish people. Some consider him a late practitioner of Gothicismus.

His parents were "Georg August Asp" (1834—1901), professor of anatomy at the University of Helsinki and "Mathilda Sofia Wetterhoff" (1840—1920), developer of female gymnastics.
