Kamiyūbetsu, Hokkaidō

nihongo|Kamiyūbetsu|上湧別町|Kamiyūbetsu-chō is a town located in Monbetsu District, Abashiri, Hokkaidō, Japan.

As of 2007, the town has an estimated population of 5,695 and a density of 36.3 persons per km². The total area is 161.39 km².

A planned merger of municipalities will be implemented in October, 2009; Kamiyūbetsu will be merged with Yūbetsu; both are in Monbetsu District, Abashiri Subprefecture. [http://www.kokudo.or.jp/new/cities/sub/hokkai/01.htm]
