CCGS Brant

CCGS "Brant" was a Canadian Coast Guard navigation aids vessel.

Commissioned in 1928 as CGS "Brant", she saw service in the Department of Transport's Marine Service, using the prefix "Canadian Government Ship". She was stationed in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

The last Coal-burner in the Canadian Government service, she was decommissioned in 1966. At that time she was known as CCGS Brant, due to the creation of the Canadian Coast Guard in 1962.
